This is the typical “white” filling. Bonding of composite material is also used for quick, single visit veneers. Less expensive than the more esthetic ceramic or porcelain veneers, however, composites must be replaced sooner due to wear and stain easily. Bonding can treat chips, gaps between the teeth, tetracycline staining, splotches from wearing braces, crooked or misshapen teeth. Composite veneers last about 5-7 years.
